Charming Custom Horse Barn
Clayton Boyd Industries built Sage Ranch straight from our customer’s design. With needs to house the owners horses as well as a guest house and entertaining space.
About the project
This home features an L shaped open air barn allows the horses to come and go when their dutch doors are open to their paddocks. The tack room is outfitted with a beautiful custom door that rotates for tack acceablity. Beautiful cedar posts and stamped concrete add character to the covered porch.
The spacious living quarters offers stunning natural stone counters and beautiful vaulted ceilings. There is a private temperature conrolled wine cellar to boot! The barn is focused around an outdoor courtyard. A place designed for gathering and entertaining!
Clayton Boyd absolutely made our dreams come true. He took the time to really understand how I wanted to use the space and what was important to me. Then, he made the entire building experience painless, while adding features that absolutely enhanced the vision that I had. Many of the touches he added have become my favorite features.
Everyone told me that my horses would never want to be in the barn, but mine come in and out all day long. They love their stalls! Guests come to the barn apartment and never want to leave. None of this would have been realized without Clayton’s knowledge, compassion, and professionalism. Can’t wait to build a shop/apartment with him next!
